Creative self-expression of potter Timofiy comes from his personal experience. He is looking for an ideal woman and in his work he is trying to find answers to personal questions.

Film won "Special Jury Prize" of XXVII International Short Film Festival at Clermont-Ferrand (28.01-5.02.2005).

Also this documentary is a winner of Documental Film Festival "Contact" (2005).

Now "Against the Sun" is included in the first Ukrainian films DVD-release.
