Ukrainian Cinema Foundation was founded in 2007 as a non-governmental body whereof the aims are acquainting film professionals and audiences with the classical and newest Ukrainian films and promoting national cinema around the world.

The presentation of Ukrainian Cinema Foundation took place at Kyiv International Film Festival "Molodist" in October 2007. The UCF is headed by Mr. Andriy Khalpakhchi and is founded under the auspices of the First Lady of Ukraine and Head of the Supervisory Board of the International Charitable Fund "Ukraine 3000" Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko.

The UCF activities shall include:

- publication of annual catalogues of Ukrainian cinema,

- presentation of new Ukrainian films at the biggest international film festivals and film markets,

- issue of collections of Ukrainian short and full-feature films on DVD,

- restoration of film copies of classical Ukrainian films,

- organization of festivals of Ukrainian cinema around the world.

At last we have our own site, which represents these activities. Also it is devoted to Ukrainian films, authors, directors, producers, distributors, scriptwriters and Ukrainian cinema industry itself. At the same time we observe Ukrainian cinema life, take part in all its events and give information about it.
